What is an ecommerce leads database?

An ecommerce leads database is a structured list of online stores you can filter, enrich and contact. Most stop there: a domain, a platform, sometimes a category. You export a CSV and start writing.

The problem is not accuracy. It is that everyone exports the same CSV. By the time your email lands, two or three competitors have already written to the same founder in the same week, with the same opener. The list is not wrong, it is worn out.

What changes the outcome is knowing which of those stores is in a buying window right now, and having a reason to write that is specific to them.

How to find ecommerce leads worth contacting

Finding stores is easy. Finding stores that are ready to hear from you is the actual work.

We track 4.1M Shopify and WooCommerce stores and watch them for events that show money and attention are moving: a new set of Meta ads going live, a product drop, a jump in ad volume, a fresh Klaviyo install, a storefront rebuild, a spike in social growth.

When we ran this on our own outreach, as of August 2026, contacting a store in the week the event happened moved reply rate from about 3.9 percent to about 8.5 percent, with no change to the message. Timing did the work. You can see which buying signals we track in full.

Ecommerce lead lists vs. live signals

A lead list is a snapshot. It is accurate on the day it is exported and decays from that moment. Nothing about the file tells you when it stopped being true.

A signal has a date attached. That makes it actionable, and just as importantly it makes obvious when it is no longer worth acting on. We do not present a three week old event as an opportunity, because it is not one.

This is also why a b2b ecommerce lead list bought from a generic provider tends to underperform. Those databases refresh on their own schedule, so records decay between refreshes, and because everybody draws from the same well, everybody inherits the same decay.

What we know about every store

Platform and storefront Shopify or WooCommerce, theme and technology, storefront changes over time.
Commerce context Category and vertical, product launches, newsletter activity.
Advertising Whether the store runs Meta ads right now and how the volume is developing.
Social Instagram and TikTok presence, follower counts and growth.
Contacts Business addresses plus founder addresses that are not listed publicly, discovered and verified by us. Coverage today is 84%.

Every field is filterable in the segment builder, and every signal carries its own last seen date.

Where the data comes from

Less than half of our records come from bought sources, and those are a foundation rather than an answer. On top of that runs our own enrichment: store pages including legal notices are scraped and every structured field extracted, the Meta ad library is scraped continuously, Instagram and TikTok supply social growth, and founder addresses are found through name combination testing and verification rather than purchased.

The honest downside: it is expensive and maintenance heavy. Proxies and scrapers break constantly. That is also why the result is hard to copy.

Who uses this

Agencies and service providers selling to ecommerce brands: performance and Meta, retention and Klaviyo, shop development, creative and video. Software companies selling into ecommerce.

Most of the pool is Shopify — see the Shopify stores list for that half on its own, filters and all.

Once you have the segment, the outreach written for each store turns it into actual conversations.

How this compares to other lead databases

Store directories tell you a shop exists and which technology it runs. That is useful for research and it is not what we do. We tell you which stores just did something, who to write to, and what to say.

Looking for store leads alternatives? We put the two side by side.

B2B email list providers and where we differ

Most b2b email list providers sell breadth: a b2b companies database spanning every industry, handed over as a file you export. If your buyers are spread across sectors, that shape is the right one and we are not it.

We make the opposite trade. One vertical, Shopify and WooCommerce stores across the EU and North America, with more evidence per company and a dated reason to write.

Worth stating plainly: there are no lead lists for sale here in the usual sense. The full database is not for download, and a bulk file would make the unlock model meaningless. What you unlock is yours to keep: those contacts export as a CSV with the signal that put them there, or move straight into campaigns inside the product.

Frequently asked questions

How many stores are in the database?

4.1M Shopify and WooCommerce stores across the EU and North America.

How often is it updated?

Stores are re-scraped weekly. Signals carry their own last seen timestamps.

Do I get email addresses?

Yes, including founder addresses that are not publicly listed. Addresses are verified before sending.

Is this different from buying a lead list?

Yes, in two ways. The data is largely our own rather than resold, and each record carries a dated event rather than just attributes.

Are you a b2b email list provider?

Not in the usual sense. Providers cover every industry and hand you a file; we cover ecommerce in the EU and North America and hand you stores with a dated event attached, worked inside campaigns rather than exported.

Do you sell a b2b companies database?

We hold one for a single vertical: 4.1M Shopify and WooCommerce stores with platform, apps, ad activity, socials and contacts attached. Outside ecommerce we hold nothing.

Do you have lead lists for sale?

Not in the usual sense. The full database never leaves as a bulk file. The contacts you unlock are yours: export them as a CSV with their signal, or move them into campaigns.

Which markets do you cover?

The EU and North America. Contact coverage is strongest there and we would rather say that than oversell it.

Can I start without paying?

Yes. Signing up gives you 500 credits to spend inside segments you build yourself.
